The Carolina Hike Series gives its participants a half or whole day experience in one of our incredible public lands around the region. The Blue Ridge Mountain range has one of the longest fall foliage seasons in the country so join us for an incredible and colorful journey to the top of John Rock. Towering above the Pisgah Center of Wildlife Education, this moderate hike offers spectacular views of our mountains bursting with the renowned western North Carolina autumn hues, as well as a stunning view of the iconic Looking Glass Rock. We will finish up the tour with a cider tasting at Bold Rock Hard Cidery where you can get a flight or a pint of hard or nonalcoholic cider “crushed and crafted in the Blue Ridge Mountains.” Transportation, light snacks, and your first pint or flight of cider are provided. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Minimum of 5 people needed to run the tour.
