The Carolina Hike Series gives its participants a half or whole day experience in one of our incredible public lands around the region. The CHS continues with one of the most beautiful hikes around - Black Balsam Knob and Tennent Mountain. Stand on top of the world as you bask in the 360 degree views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We promise that you’ve never seen anything as amazing in North Carolina. The tour will also stop by several lookouts along the Blue Ridge Parkway to get pictures and hear some tales from the days of the Vanderbilts. The tour will end at a local tavern for a pint of your favorite beer or cider. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. Please call for more information.
