Let the Lakes of Tipsaw and Indian-Celina Recreation Areas envelope you with peace and tranquility as you settle within the rolling hills of Southern Indiana. Spend time in nature, watch wildlife, hike the 16-mile Two Lakes Loop National Recreation Trail, which winds through both Indian and Celina lakes. Just down the road at Tipsaw, you can hike the 6-mile Tipsaw Trail within the scenic hardwood forest to observe rare plant species nearby to the 131 acre lake. Celina Lake offers 164 acres for boating, fishing, or swimming, while two miles away Indian Lake sits on 152 acres. Fish one of the forests many streams or ponds for large-mouth bass, bluegill channel catfish, red-ear sunfish or other sport fish.

Indian- Celina and Tipsaw are located on the Hoosier National Forest which is home to several points of interest including Charles C. Deam Wilderness, Hickory Ridge Lookout Tower, Pioneer Mothers Memorial Forest, Lick Creek Settlement, Hemlock Cliffs, Wesley Chapel Gulf, and Clover Lick Barrens.

Within 30 minutes of the campgrounds you will be in Santa Claus, IN and Holiday World Amusement Parks.   Only an hour away, you'll find French Lick Casino and West Baden Springs; a fun place to enjoy for a day long-adventure. Jasper, IN is also not far away if you'd like to enjoy some real German flair.

Educational programs and family activities are offered during the summer. These programs include opportunities to learn about animals of the forest and all aspects of nature and the outdoors.

Fees include occupancy of 8 people and 1 vehicle for single sites/ 16 people and 2 vehicles for double sites. Additional vehicles are charged $5.00 per day (w/discount $2.50/day)
