Mission Statement
The Cradle of Forestry In America Interpretive Association promotes educational, recreational,
and interpretive opportunities about forest and water resources, natural history, and
the Cradle of Forestry In America.

Conferences
The CFAIA administers to the SAMAB Foundation which holds an annual conference in November. The SAMAB Annual Fall Conference is the destination for networking, sharing results of resource management and research, and an opportunity to create new relationships among the caretakers of Southern Appalachian resources.
